Who Was I Before Knowing Jesus
I grew up in a catholic household when I was younger so I had an awareness of Jesus yet beyond the words in the bible, I had no idea who he was. I was an average student in class and was living life day by day with my studies being my focus. Life distracted me from looking deeper for God and service level awareness was sufficient
Who Was I After knowing God
My journey started with reading Marks’s’s gospel in school. I found it very hard to read books in general, but noticed on reading Mark’s gospel my curiosity started to spark. It generated more questions and as I read more I expanded to reading more of the good news gospel. Later in life my partner drew me closer to the person of Jesus beyond being aware of him but being fully connected to him.
Transformation
I excelled in school and moved from mid set to top set in all classes. I became more receptive to how God communicated through everyday events. I had a sense of purpose that if you stripped away everything in my life all of a sudden I had a new drive. It did come with challenges on the journey but everyday I am grateful for Christ revealing himself to me.
How Will My experience Be?
Everyones journey to Christ will be different. To be open minded and curious is essential but Jesus will reveal himself to you. Be receptive when he knocks and you won’t regret looking back.
St Paul Before & After Jesus
He went from being called Saul to Paul. Being the greatest prosecutor of Christians to being one of its biggest influencers. Damascus changed the trajectory of his life. Some may be aware of their Damascus moment and others are not. Some are still on the way. We are all different parts of the journey. Help others where possible.
